FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How long before I see results?

Most people need to use it consistently for at least four to six months before visible regrowth appears. Using more than the recommended amount will not speed this up. If you see no improvement after six to eight months of regular use, speak to a clinician.

Is the increased hair shedding at the start normal?

Yes. Some people notice more hair falling out in the first two to six weeks. This happens because minoxidil shifts resting hairs into a new growth cycle, and the old hairs fall out as new ones begin to grow. It usually settles within a couple of weeks. If it continues beyond two weeks, stop and speak to a clinician.

What happens if I stop using it?

Hair regrowth depends on continued use. If you stop, the new hair will gradually thin and fall out over the following months, and the pattern of hair loss will return to where it would have been without treatment.

Can I use Regaine if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. Regaine must not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you are planning a pregnancy, stop using it and speak to our pharmacy team at info@rightangled.com for advice on timing.
