 AEON PROTECT has been formulated to provide relief for anyone with mild to moderate dry eye. PROTECT contains sodium hyaluronate 0.3 % with PEG 400, which provides long-lasting lubrication and relief from dry eye.

It is phosphate free and contains SCO, a second-generation preservative that dissipates into components naturally found in tears when exposed to light, meaning that it is preservative-free on the eye. The SCO technology therefore does not cause damage to the eye surface like first generation preservative eye drops.

Directions

Administer one drop into the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by a healthcare professional. It is suitable for everyday use.

When should I use AEON PROTECT during the day?

It can be used whenever your eyes feel dry or tired, including during prolonged screen use, in air-conditioned or centrally heated rooms, or during air travel. There is no fixed limit on frequency, so you can reapply as often as you need for comfort.

Can I use it while wearing contact lenses?

Yes, it can generally be used with contact lenses. If you wear lenses or use other eye drops, follow the patient information leaflet or check with your optometrist or pharmacist. Leave a few minutes between different eye products where possible.

How long can I keep the bottle once opened?

Use within the in-use period stated on the carton and patient information leaflet, and do not use beyond the expiry date printed on the packaging. Keep the cap on between uses and do not let the dropper tip touch your eye or any surface.

What if my symptoms are more severe, or I am having eye surgery?

AEON PROTECT is intended for mild to moderate dryness. For moderate to severe dry eye, or for use around eye surgery, the related AEON PROTECT PLUS may be more suitable.
