Rightangled showcases consumer DNA testing at BodyPower Expo

London: Rightangled announced its attendance at the BodyPower Expo, held at the NEC Arena in Birmingham on 10–12 May 2019 — becoming one of the first consumer DNA testing companies to exhibit at the UK's largest health and fitness trade event, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually.

Members of the Rightangled team were present across the three-day event to introduce visitors to consumer DNA testing and showcase the range of tests developed since 2017.

The tests featured at the time

• Heart DNA Test — identifying genetic markers associated with cardiovascular risk
• Fitness DNA Test — covering muscle composition, training response and metabolism
• Woman Wellness Test — assessing genetic factors relating to venous thrombosis risk, including in the context of oral contraceptive use
• Wellness Pro DNA Test — a combined panel

Rightangled's approach combined genetic analysis with environmental and lifestyle factors such as age, weight, diet and activity levels. Results were returned via an online platform connecting users with specialists who could provide context and practical next steps.
