Jungle Formula 2 Pin Plug-In
The Jungle Formula 2 pin plug-in protects against mosquitoes indoors for up to 45 nights and is odourless. The two pin plug fits the sockets used in many popular holiday destinations, and it is simple to install for a quieter night in a hotel room or apartment.
How it works
The device gently heats a refill so that the active ingredient is released slowly into the air of the room. It builds up to a concentration that repels and kills mosquitoes in an enclosed space, which is why it works overnight in a bedroom rather than outdoors. Being odourless, it does the job without the smell associated with coils.
How to use it
Fit a refill, plug the device into a socket in the room where you sleep and switch it on as directed on the pack, ideally an hour or so before bedtime so the room is already protected. Keep windows and doors closed, or at least screened, while it runs. Do not cover the device, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Who it is for
It suits travellers staying in rooms with a two pin socket, and anyone who would rather not use a spray overnight. It is for indoor use only and is not a substitute for repellent on the skin when you are outside.
Safety and when to get advice
Use it in a room that can be ventilated, and follow the pack guidance for use around babies, young children, pregnant women and anyone with asthma or breathing problems. In a malaria area it is one layer alongside skin repellent, covering up at dusk and dawn, treated nets and any antimalarial tablets advised.
