Full Blood Count (FBC) Test
A full blood count (FBC) is a blood test used to evaluate your overall health and detect a wide range of disorders, including anemia, infection, and leukemia. An FBC is done to: review your overall health, diagnose a medical condition, monitor a medical condition, monitor medical treatment. a full blood count test is suggested if you're experiencing weakness, fatigue, fever, inflammation, bruising, or bleeding. A full blood count may help diagnose the cause of these signs and symptoms. If your doctor suspects you have an infection, the test can also help confirm that diagnosis.
This test measures your:
✔️ Mean corpuscular volume (MCV)
✔️ Mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH)
✔️ Mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (MCHC)
✔️ Red cell distribution width (RDW)
✔️ Mean platelet volume (MPV)
✔️ WBC's: Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophil, Basophils
