Description

Acriflex Cream contains chlorhexidine gluconate, a powerful antibacterial agent that effectively treats and prevents infection in minor burns, cuts, blisters, and infected cracked skin. By eliminating bacteria on the skin, Acriflex promotes healing and reduces the risk of further complications.

Directions

General Use: Apply the cream liberally to the affected area and gently smooth it in. Use as needed.
For Cuts, Abrasions, or Burns: Apply a generous amount of cream to the injury. If required, cover the area with a sterile dressing.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes and body cavities (mouth, vagina, inner ear). If swallowed accidentally, seek immediate medical attention and bring the product packaging with you.

Active Ingredient: Chlorhexidine Gluconate 20% solution 1.25% w/w
Other Ingredients: Arlatone, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Liquid Paraffin, Dimeticone 20, Glycerol, Quinoline Yellow Lake (E104), Purified Water

Side Effects

Common side effects include local skin reactions such as contact dermatitis.

Rare but serious allergic reactions may occur, characterized by swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and throat; red itchy skin rash; wheezing or difficulty breathing; feeling faint and dizzy; strange metallic taste in the mouth; collapse.

If you experience any of these reactions, stop using Acriflex immediately and seek urgent medical help.
Report any other side effects to your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine gluconate or any of the other ingredients.

Avoid using Acriflex in body cavities or if you are undergoing surgery involving the brain, spinal cord, or middle ear.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this product.

Cetostearyl alcohol in the cream may cause local skin reactions.
