With our roots in the clinical excellence of Rightangled in the UK, we are proud to have established our US headquarters in New York. Being registered and operating out of New York State means we adhere to some of the most rigorous pharmaceutical oversight standards in the country. While we are currently focused on serving our New York patient base, we are actively working on expanding our licensure to bring the Medetone standard to the rest of the United States.

Because we deal exclusively in potent, FDA-approved therapies, professional oversight is not just a "bonus"- it is a clinical necessity.

However, I don't believe that safety should come with a "gatekeeper fee." That is why we offer our Medical Consultation at no extra charge. Don’t have a doctor? No problem! We will connect you with a US-based prescriber.

As the Supervising Pharmacist, I’ve designed this FAQ to address the most common concerns heard from patients. In an industry currently flooded with "gray market" alternatives, clarity is the best medicine.

Medication Safety & Standards: FAQ

1. Why does Medetone only offer FDA-approved medications?

Patient safety is my non-negotiable priority. FDA-approved medications undergo years of rigorous clinical trials to prove they are safe, effective, and manufactured under strict quality controls.

While "compounded" versions are popular right now due to lower prices, they do not undergo this pre-market review. As a pharmacist, I cannot verify the exact potency or purity of a compounded batch in the same way I can for an FDA-regulated product. We choose certainty over "copycats."

2. What are the actual risks of using compounded "knock-off" drugs?

The risks are clinical and significant:

• Inconsistent Potency: Some batches may have too much active ingredient (leading to toxicity) or too little (making the treatment ineffective).

• Contamination: Compounded drugs aren't always made in the sterile, industrial environments required for FDA-approved manufacturers.

• Unapproved Ingredients: Many compounders use "salt versions" of active ingredients (like Semaglutide Sodium) which have not been tested for human safety.

3. Is Medetone LLC a licensed US pharmacy?

Yes. We are a legally registered entity in New York State. This is a point of pride for us; New York has some of the most stringent pharmacy board regulations in the country. Our facility, staff, and protocols are held to these high standards to ensure your care meets US legal and clinical requirements.

4. I live outside of New York. Can I still use Medetone?

Currently, we are focusing our care on patients within New York. However, we are in the process of nationwide expansion. We are methodically securing licenses in additional states to ensure that when we arrive in your area, we are doing so with full regulatory compliance and the same high level of care.

5. How is the medical consultation "at no extra charge"?

Most platforms charge a "membership fee" or a "consultation fee" before you even know if you're eligible for treatment. At Medetone, we believe that clinical gatekeeping shouldn't be a profit center.

• We cover the cost of the provider's time to review your health history.

• Our goal is to ensure the medication is clinically appropriate for you.

• If our medical team determines a prescription isn't safe or right for your profile, you are not charged for that assessment.
