    "Great service. I have tried several blood test services and Rightangled is the best for speed, efficiency and customer service."

    Simon (GB)

    "Interesting details on some of the health risks I need to be aware of. Some were very surprising as there has been no family history - which I would have expected with the DNA test results. It might be good to combine DNA with blood test to see that if you are likely to be low on for example folates, to see if you actually are low on these. Maybe an idea?"

    • Full Blood Count Analysis

    • More about the Biomarkers

    • And more...

    Measuring high-sensitive C-reactive protein and a full blood count will give you an insightful indication of the current inflammatory state of your body.

    This test analyses the biomarkers;

    ✔️High sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)
    ✔️Mean corpuscular volume (MCV)
    ✔️Mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH)
    ✔️Mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (MCHC)
    ✔️Red cell distribution width (RDW)
    ✔️Mean platelet volume (MPV)
    ✔️Platelets
    ✔️White blood cell count

    More about the biomarkers analysed for the Full Blood Count test;

    ✔️High sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) is a protein produced by the liver to reduce inflammation. A high level of CRP in the blood is a marker of inflammation that can be caused by conditions, such as infections or chronic conditions.

    ✔️Red blood cells are the most common type of blood cells. Red blood cells contain haemoglobin, which carry oxygen to the longs and all parts of the body.

    ✔️Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) is the average size of red blood cells, a smaller size may be a sign of an iron deficiency, while a high number indicates vitamin B12 or folate deficiency.

    ✔️Mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH) is the amount of haemoglobin in a single red blood cell. A low number may be a sign of iron deficiency, while a high number indicates vitamin B12 or folate deficiency.

    ✔️Mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (MCHC) is the average concentration of haemoglobin in red blood cells. A low number may be a sign of iron deficiency, while a high number often indicates sickle cell disease or hereditary spherocytosis.

    ✔️Red cell distribution width (RDW) is a measurement of the variation of red blood cell sizes. A low number typically is not a cause of concern. A high number often indicates iron deficiency, vitamin B12 or folate deficiency, or a recent blood loss.

    ✔️Mean platelet volume (MPV) is the average size of platelets. Newer platelets tend to be larger than older ones. A low number may indicate aplastic anaemia or thrombocytopenia. A high number is often an indication of certain inherited disorders.

    ✔️Platelets help stop bleeding by promoting blood clotting. A low platelet count may indicate conditions such as bone marrow failure, viral infections or lupus. A high platelet count may indicate leukaemia, inflammatory conditions, or myeloproliferative disorders.

    ✔️White blood cells (WBCs) help the body fight off infections from bacteria, viruses, and fungi. There are different types of WBCs, each with its own function. ‍
