Kwells travel sickness tablets are designed to prevent and control motion sickness. They contain the active ingredient hyoscine hydrobromide, which acts as an anticholinergic agent. This means it works by blocking certain nerve signals to the brain, specifically those related to the vestibular system responsible for balance. By inhibiting these signals, Kwells helps reduce the symptoms of motion sickness, such as nausea and dizziness.

تفاصيل الدواء

وصف

Kwells Travel Sickness tablets are used for the fast and effective prevention and control of travel sickness. Travel sickness happens when the brain receives mixed messages. Visual messages from the eyes inform the brain that the immediate surroundings are stationary, but a delicate balancing organ in the ear tells the brain that you are moving. This conflicting information triggers the nausea we associate with travel sickness.

أسئلة وأجوبة

يرجى قراءة صفحة الأسئلة الشائعة لمعرفة المزيد.

Can I take Kwells if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

The safety of Kwells during pregnancy has not been established. It should only be used during pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester, if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs any potential risk to the developing fetus. Caution is also required during lactation, as small amounts of the medication may pass into breast milk.

How does Kwells interact with other medications?

The effects of hyoscine, the active ingredient in Kwells, may be enhanced by other drugs with anticholinergic properties, such as certain antihistamines and tricyclic antidepressants. Combining these medications with Kwells should be avoided. Additionally, the sedative effect of Kwells may be increased when taken with alcohol or central nervous system depressants.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

Kwells is taken as needed to prevent or treat motion sickness. If you miss a dose and still experience symptoms, take the medication as soon as you remember, ensuring you do not exceed the recommended dosage. Do not double up on doses to make up for a missed one.

Are there any activities I should avoid while taking Kwells?

Since Kwells may cause drowsiness or blurred vision, it's advisable to avoid activities that require full alertness, such as driving or operating heavy machinery, until you know how the medication affects you.
